Mark and Miranda Lyon are horse trainers in that travel to the areas that they are needed. Mark and Miranda are based out of Whitesboro, TX but generally travel around in the spring and spend time training and giving clinics in the northern states during the summer. Their main base during the summer is in the Omaha/Lincoln, NE area. Mark and Miranda specialize in common sense Natural Horsemanship using California Hackamore Reinsman methods. Mark was selected to compete in the 2008 Extreme Mustang Makeover. He was one of 200 trainers in the nation to receive a untouched mustang, work with it for 100 days and transport it to FT Worth TX and show it to see which trainer could do the best job transforming their wild horse into a partner you would love to own. Click here to watch their runMark and his mustang Christian won the championship round. Mark and Christian then competed in the freestyle competition at the Sun Circuit in Scottsdale AZ in 2009. They finished second. The winner was a wonderful dressage horse which bested them by half a point, more details to follow on the training page. Soon following they competed at the 2009 Road to the Horse against Tommy Garland in a head to head competition which they also brought home the prize.

Miranda has competed in four mustang makeovers making the finals in each competition and holding the 2011 Mustang Magic Trainers Challenge Reserve Champion title. She also holds two National Championship titles in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Her accomplishments in Ranch Horse Shows, Team Penning, Ranch Sorting, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, training horses and teaching people are to many to list. They form a great team each bringing their own unique talents to ensure you and your horse get the best experience possible which will propel you to the level you want to be.
